    In late October, 2018, we retrieved the GLOS buoy from where it was moored out in Lake Erie off of Dunkirk, NY.

    Brian Haas stands ready to encounter the GLOS buoy. We hooked the buoy anchor line, pulled the buoy closer using a pot puller, detached the buoy from the anchor, and put on a temporary float to retrieve the anchor later. Then we strapped the buoy to the side of the R/V John J. Freidhoff.
