The nearest international airport is Buffalo/Niagara International Airport which is connected to several larger international airports such as New York JFK, La Guardia and Newark, Detroit, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Charlotte.
Amtrak trains run daily between Buffalo Depew Train Station and larger cities in United States and Canada, such as New York Penn Station, Detroit, and Toronto.
From East: Take I-90 West to Exit 51W (NY-33 West). Take the Goodell St exit from NY-33 W, then bear left onto Pearl Street (NY-5 W). After three blocks, Hyatt Regency Buffalo will be on the left.
From West: Take I-90 East to I-190 North to Exit 8 (NY-266 Niagara Street). Turn right onto Niagara Street (south), then turn left onto West Huron Street. Turn right onto Pearl Street, and Hyatt Regency Buffalo will be immediately on your left.
Several hotels are available near the conference center. Please make room reservations through their websites.
The Council of The Malacological Society of London was kind to offer several Travel Grants as bursaries to support student (PhD, MSc and undergraduate) attendance to this International Meeting.
The value of each of these awards is up to £500. Applications should be supported by the project supervisor.
